What is a Health Coach?

Solo Package.

Solo package, Health Accountability Coaching + Food Therapy  sessions are for individuals who wish to understand the reasons behind their current health status .These sessions are ideal for individuals who seek a support system to help them work towards their health goals. If you ever wondered what drives your food choices? Are stuck on the wheel of Seasonal Weight Loss? There is more to health than weight management, we believe the first step weight management (whether your goal is to gain or lose weight) is to EAT. Together we can address supressed emotions and equip you with the tools to make long lasting health choices.

Family Package.

The family package is for individuals who wish improve the health and wellbeing of their family to set them on a more holistic path. We are disconnected from the true meaning of health and creating communities alike. Growing up in homes where no one understands what it signifies to be truly healthy can cause harmful effects on one's emotional, physical and mental health. Cooking is a subject we neglect in our educational systems and its value is yet to be recognised by formal educational systems. It is our responsibility to dispel any health myths for future generations so they will not suffer the same fate in their lifetime.

Intuitive Weekly Meal Planning

Cooking is a process of loving and we must honour the lives of the plants and animals we eat by cooking them properly. Intuitive food choices are necessary are for optimum health. Sustainable food practices should embrace your heritage because we are what we eat! Good food should be accessible to all people, whether you are a student, a single parent or have a lot of demanding responsibilities, good food should be at the forefront and at the heart of everything. Intuitive weekly meal planning with a health coach will help you to:

Intuitive Cooking Classes

Intuitive cooking is “ordinary food” clumsily thrown together with love. Intuitive Cooking is about engaging our senses, our physical, mental and emotional state rather than blindly following recipes. Cooking is the process of loving and all food experiences should be deeply personal and spiritual. The relationship we have with food defines many aspects of our health. A life of health is rooted in sustainable healthy behavioural practices that not only benefit us but future generations.

. Intuitive cooking is an entry point to a more mindful way of life, a food relationship rooted in self-awareness and endless possibilities expressed through food.

. Freedom in the kitchen and grow more confident in your cooking abilities.

. Cook with your gut and cook creatively to explore the principles of food.

This will be a face to face or skype discussion, for us to meet before moving forward together in partnership.

It is important to me that my clients are comfortable with me and we establish a relationship. This will allow us both to gain insight on how best I can support you in your health journey. At the end of the session we will both plan how we will move forward. After you highlight your goals, pinpoint areas of concern and have a general knowledge of your life, I can outline how we can work together.

At Quant + Qual we firmly believe spiritual practices help us to be more mindful of the privileges we habitually overlook, be empathetic and find deeper meaning in life through food. Lack of spiritual practice can lead to imbalance and discontent with life.


Physical Health

Is Physical wellness the most important aspect of health?

Physical wellness tends to be at the forefront of health and wellness. The main reason is our physical body often readily shows us physical signs of optimal or ill-optimal health. With our clients we strive together to be more aware of the physical effects and to tackle any diet induced physical discomforts through individual health plans.

Relationships

Healthy relationships can nurture, inspire and constitute a vital part of wellbeing, however, unhealthy relationships or loneliness is powerful enough to weaken the immune system. The link between food and emotions is often overlooked but influential when it comes to food choices. Working with a Health Coach gives you access to weekly introspective food therapy to address your relationship with food to facilitate healthier food habits.

One average we spend at least a third of our lives working. Our careers have a significant impact on our health and wellbeing. Quant + Qual places a huge emphasis on working with our clients to create balance between work relationship and food.

Mental Health

Mental well being is made up of interconnected systems a single pill cannot fix. There is a wealth of evidence supporting the connection between what you eat and the state of your mental health. At Quant + Qual we work with clients to individually identify suitable strategies and meal plans through ‘ whole-person ’ wellness, considering personal circumstances and challenges not merely treating symptoms.
